We are testing whether authorised sellers can receive simple mobile order notifications from the ecommerce services they already use.
Current status
This is a limited technical feasibility project. It is not open for public registration and does not currently offer a paid service.
Minimal order data
The feasibility test is designed around order identifiers, source status, amount, currency and event time. It does not need buyer contact details.
Read-only alerts
The test reads sales events to create alerts. It does not edit listings, fulfil orders, message buyers or send marketing email.
TEST SCOPE
A deliberately small first step
The initial Etsy test, if approved, will connect only the developer's own shop. It will assess authorised event receipt, signature verification, duplicate handling and a visible phone notification.
Any use with other sellers would require their explicit authorisation and the appropriate Etsy access approval before release. Broader marketplace coverage and a paid subscription remain hypotheses, not current features.
